Great Classical Rock!

I listened to Deep Purple as a teenager in the early 70's. I never seen them in concert but I did finally see them perform from the AOL concert video of the G8 concert at Barrie, Ontario in Canada. (It's a shame that they didn't have this on the TV converage) They were GREAT! Sure, they are older but the SOUND was the same. I immediately bought the CD, The Very Best of Deep Purple. This is a GREAT ROCKIN' CD because it has most of their best hits in one CD. The guitar and drums brings back the good memories of being a carefree teenager! GET IT!

A dismal compilation. Rhino discludes "Never Before," from Machine Head and "River Deep, Mountain High," from The Book of Taliesyn. If you are an fervent fan of compilations, I exhort yout to purchase two disc retrospectives as opposed to drab one cd compilation albums.
