I have a lot of the videos in this series and this is by far my favorite. You can choose between the ten minute segments of various body parts and create your own workout. The instructors are friendley and knowledgeable-they are also cute and in great shape which is a motivator. The sessions go by fast and leve you wanting to do another one. There is no expensive equipment needed-just tennis shoes and handweights. I have had this for a long time and I still feel challenged-especially with Julie's ab excercises and Minna's leg excercises. This is a must have for your home fitness collection.

This is such a great workout for me. I have enjoyed it time and time again.
3 abdominal workouts, 3 bun workouts, and 3 leg and arm workouts makes for 30 minutes, three times a week exercise for me.
I have seen results from following this DVD which is easy to follow, fun to watch, and produces toned tummy, arms, buns, and legs.
The instructors are great to listen to and are not the usual "cheesy" variety.
I only wish there were more workouts to choose from.

When I buy something, I do it right. I spent a good while reading online reviews of toning videos, from both consumers and experts, until I found Quick Fix TotalMix. I figured it was the best buy I could find, and I turned out to be right.

There are 9 different segments on this DVD, for a total of 90 minutes of toning. The great thing is that using the "Blender," you select a combination of 1, 2, or 3 exercise segments based on what you want to do that day. It's great to have a full range of choice, not only to get the specific workout that you need, but also to just have variety in your workout. (Workouts are pretty ineffective if they're so boring that you never do them.)

The segments are divided like this: 3 ab workouts, 3 buns workouts, 1 arms/legs combo, 1 legs, 1 arms. The arms workouts require small dumbells (the DVD says 3-5 pound) and one of the buns workouts requires a chair. Such simple equipment was a big selling point for me. I didn't want to buy weird balls and bands that take up space and might never be used again (whereas dumbells are pretty useful).

I really like the instructors. They are down-to-Earth and enthusiastic, but not overly energetic. Julie Upton does abs, Nancy Popp does buns, and Minna Lessig does arms/legs. Each one seems perfectly matched to their area of expertise. They keep you going, give pointers when needed, and they all keep great form and the camera keeps them visible. I've done videos where you don't know a) what the HECK they are doing and b) if you're even doing it right. That is not the case with QuickFix. All the exercises are simple and I picked them up right off of the bat.

You'll probably find you like some exercises more than others. The arms/legs combo is a great workout for 10 minutes - probably the best overall workout on the tape. I also find the 1st ab workout and the 2nd buns workout to be most effective for me - but you'll probably discover your own preferences. The key, without a doubt, to these quick exercises is focusing on the muscle groups being worked at that time. Form is definitely key, so it's important to be paying attention to your movements all the time, not just when the instructors give you that friendly reminder.

Instead of buying a ton of different DVDs, I wanted one that would fit all of my needs. This is a great DVD for people who want just that.
