Great ball. Better buttons? |
| I have found this very helpful in doing precise text and figure editting with only a small desktop area available. I do sometimes have trouble double-clicking - it may just be that I'm not used to it yet. It may also be that the two extra little buttons are interfering with the function of the main two. |

4 buttons are better than 2 |
I owned the old 2-button version of this device a few years back, and while it was nice, it was nothing special. Having the 2 programable buttons makes it worth checking out, the big trackball makes for accuracy in mouse movements once you get used to it, and the 2 extra buttons do whatever you want (I keep one set to "back" and the other as "middle button", which is perfect for firefox's tabbed browsing)
It isn't perfect, but it's the best trackball for the money, IMO. |

Best mouse ever, smooth and precise |
This has got to be the best mouse ever. I had one for 4 years (white though and no forward & back buttons) Started messing up since dust starting getting inside I bought the exact same one now, and I do not regret it... wrist feels perfectly in plce with no pains, fingers can control the ball - perfect positiong. I use my thumb to left click, it doesn't get better than this. I had the chance to get an MX1000 instead but I chose this and I do no regret it one bit!
