very ergonomic |
I work as a web designer and my mouse is a very important tool for me. I needed good precision and a confortable mouse to work with more than 10 hours a day and this Logitech was my choice because has sensitive buttons and is heavy enough to be manuvered well.
Some reviewers complain about mouse jumps but I think they use those shiny-plastic mouse pads that don't live in harmony with any optical mouse in general so just pick a non-shiny mouse pad.

Nice Mousey |
I toyed with the idea of giving 4 stars instead of 5, but when I thought about it, any problems that could even remotely be connected with this mouse are more likely stemming from the crudy keyboard that I've been using. Ever so often, if I jostle my keyboard, the curser freezes. I just fiddle with the connections- unplug and plug and this always remedies the problem. Like I said, my keyboard's dying I think.
The facts on this nifty little mouse are these: I've had this mouse on all 3 of our OS X computers, and have not had a SINGLE performance problem with them. I, personally HATE mouse pads. They're dirty, they look stupid, and etc. This guy works without one flawlessly. No more taking the stupid roller ball out and cleaning the greasy lint off the inside of the mouse. Thats a big HUZZAH right there. This thing flows like cream across my screen... sometimes for various weird reasons, I have to use an "alternate" surface to my desk top to scroll across... my arm gets tired on long computer sessions, so I drop the mouse to my knee or the side of my desk, or a magazine on my lap and scroll there for a while. (This could be a "girl" thing" I don't know. Maybe guys do it too... who can say? All I know is, it gives my arm a rest, yet the performance is STILL there. COOL.
Oh, yeah- even after dropping this innocent little mouse oh, say... just a few times... fairly hard, like the old TIMEX™ slogan: "... it takes the licking keeps on ticking" just like nothing ever happened. Shoot, I even spilled Dr. Pepper™ on the thing and it kept working perfectly.
Not bad priced, neither.
Maybe the one thing that annoys me is the fact that I wish it was cordless. I hate cords about as much as I hate mouse pads... but that's another story. |

A Great Buy, for a Mac User. |
| I bought this Logitech mouse because I received a new Apple computer. As we all know, Apple ships with a standard one-button mouse, which is not ideal for those who have become accustomed two- or three-button mice. Once I received the mouse in the mail, I plugged it in to my computer's USB port and instantly it worked - no drivers to install, nothing. The mouse's controls worked seamlessly and fluidly, right clicking and scrolling documents went fine. I have had this specific mouse for two years, and have experienced no problems. Logitech's mouse delivers, and for a cheap price too.. buy it! |
