| WOW, I bought this mouse as a gift for my boyfriend and we both love it. This mouse has a lot of cool features (easy to use buttons that allow you to go back and forth between web pages being my favorite!). The ergonomic deisgn and smooth scroll are perhaps the best you will find in a cordless mouse. Sleek design and simple recharge dock. Very cool, worth every cent. |

| I have had this mouse since just after it came out. I have only had one problem with it. After almost a year and a half, the paint is starting to rub off on the top where it rest on the charging station. Other than that is is just an outstanding mouse. But I think the missing paint is bugging me a little too much and will be upgrading to a MX1000. |

A winner in my book |
I have had this mouse for quite a while and I still love it. It replaced my previous Logitech cordless optical, which was accurate and worked great, but the batteries would die out on me on almost a monthly basis. The deal maker for me on this one was the rechargable dock/receiver. Now I just pop my mouse in the dock now and then. I have had this mouse at least two years and have yet needed to replace the rechargable batteries. No idea if that's common, but for me I'm happy.
The mouse works great. The ergonomics took some getting used to, but it truly feels like you can just lay your hand on it naturally and it fits. The tracking is sweet as well. There was a time when I had no desk for months and had the computer just set up next to my bed. I was able to move the mouse over books, bedsheets, even the pillow without a hitch. Having no cord was very helpful during that time as well. While I won't recommend any hard core gamers to give up their solid surfaces on this mouse it's nice to know it will work in "adverse" surface conditions.
I don't recall having some of the problems others have mentioned here. The programming of the buttons seems to give me every option I need. I don't recall being offered to download any unnecessary software either. Maybe I got the mouse on a different release (and thus less supporting software). I will say that I haven't really seen much accuracy when the mouse gets beyond maybe 5 feet or so (maybe even four... I never really measured) so the theoretical six foot limits I remember reading about never happened in my environment.
All in all this is great mouse that gives me all the functionality I could want from a mouse. No cords. Optical accuracey. Programmable buttons. Rechargable batteries with long battery life. Decent range and no interference problems. I highly recommend this mouse. |
