Ripped Offed!

I can't beleieve I just spend $12.99 + Tax at Circuit City (in Long Beach, CA) for this worthless product! I thought all CD/DVD Lens Cleaners were the same. I tried using this one on my computer's DVD drive and it does not work! They should put a warning on the packaging. Its bad ebough that it won't do the job I wanted it for but I spent three times the real price for it! I just hope it works on my regular DVD player and my CD player so I won't have been completely ripped off. This will teach me to not impulse buy anything again.

It did the trick for me.

I own an older Sony DVD player (when they used to be around $250 gulp). I've been having problems playing DVD's...they kept skipping...especially DVD-Rs. I thought the problem was with the dics but as it turned out all it needed was a little cleaning. I did my research and trust me you can't beat this price. Works on CD players and DVD players only.

Beware that it does not work on computer CD-Roms as it will crush the little brushes.

Doesn't work with anything but a cd player.

Unfortunetly, the reason I got this was for the DVD player in my computer, home theater, and xbox. I really couldn't find anything on what this disc would be compatible with but for $5, it isn't a big deal. Seems to work just fine for my cd player in my computer and home theater though. So as far as a cleaner for your cd player, this product seems to work just fine and is at a reasonable price. Takes about 3 minutes or so to clean the lens and then you can choose whether or not you wish to calibrate your home theater's speakers or not. Seems I have something in common with the July 20th review.
