Average rating: Stars
Stars buzzing
The Plantronics worked great for the first day. Then half way through the second day, there was a seriously loud buzzing background noise that grows louder still as the battery wears out.

Stars Plantronics 3000 Headset
This is actually my second one (lost first). At @ $40 this is a great value. Clarity is good, talk time is excellent and always outlasts my cell phone. Customer service at Plantronics is some of the best I have dealt with, knowledgeable and helpfull. I will probably buy another for a backup.

Stars Patting my head and rubbing my stomach
It does take a little getting use to. All I wanted was something to answer the calls without a wire getting caught on everything, the earpiece falling out of my ear, etc. But, what I got is a terrific device that once I've memorized the four main components, it'll be a breeze. It is a little heavy and weird to walk with. I also keep forgetting to bring the phone with me when using it and suddenly I have static. If you forget to turn it off and leave it somewhere (like on the top of the washer like I did the other day) you can't just use the phone because you left ithe darn thing on and it's answering your calls...or you don't hear the dial tone or anything because you're actually transferring your calls to the device! So, remember to turn it off if you put it down. (Or remember where you left it. Like next to the keys?) Voice dialing is great. The sound quality is great. It is ANOTHER thing that has to be charged, though. But it is terrific. No wires. Great sound. And, I guess I got it at a great price: it was half off this price now for about a month. Had I known, I'd have bought two at the time. Even at double the price it's probably as good as the $99 Motorola one Cingular wanted me to buy.
